The Winter Pavilion


Especially for Christmas, we’ve transformed our Pavilion into a magical Winter Wonderland.

From the 23rd November, you will be able to skate on our synthetic rink, just in time to get in the festive spirit for Christmas. At present only tickets for our first week are available, but you will be able to purchase those in the next few days.

THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS ARE VALID FOR THE WINTER PAVILION SKATE

We are running this event with strict COVID measures in place with current government guidelines. We can only accept group bookings from people from the same household.

Social distancing is still permitted, with a 2m gap between groups to be practiced at all times, only skaters are allowed on the rink. Skaters are asked to inform staff of any illness or condition that may be affected by skating. Skating will only be allowed in one direction around the outside of the rink, and skating across the ice or against the flow of people is not permitted. Skaters who are a danger to others will be removed from the ice rink. Please don’t form a chain of more than two people to allow overtaking with social distancing still in place.

Under 3s are not permitted to skate but will still require an under 3s ticket, which has no charge but helps us keep track of numbers, and all children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult on the ice. Tickets are required for each adult and child attending, no entry will be granted without a valid ticket. Anyone not skating will still require a ticket and must remain in the lower part of the courtyard and stand at a 2m distance from other parties at all times.

Masks must be worn by everyone over the age of 11, and for those also visiting Santa, everyone of all ages must wear a mask to protect elderly Santa. We will provide these in case of not arriving with, however entry will not be granted unless this is adhered to.

Please use the hand sanitising points provided on a regular basis, these stations will be located throughout the area.

Your ticket is only valid for the time stated on your booking, due to restrictions and the volume expected you will be refused entry if you arrive late and a refund will not be offered in this case. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We are unable to refund the booking fee in case of event cancellation.

Entry time includes queuing time for periods up to half an hour. Access to the rink will be staggered to minimise contact.

In the case of event cancellation refunds will only be given if an alternative date is not available. In case of additional COVID restrictions leading to the event unable to proceed, full refunds will be given minus booking fee.

Due to restrictions, there will be no photographer present but you are free to take your own photos. We ask that you refrain from taking videos to protect the privacy of other guests.

NHS Track & Trace is mandatory, and will be required upon entry. Refusal to do so, will result in entry not being permitted and a refund will not be given. Tickets have been limited to a maximum of 30 adults in line with current outdoor activities in the Welsh Government guidelines. Anyone over the age of 11 will be classed as an adult in this instance.

Safety penguins can be hired on a first come first serve basis at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee availability of these on the day.
